He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hurd and Elaine Wilson Hurd; his daughter Meghan; his brother Steven; and his parents-in-law, Louis and Myrtle Sharp.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Sharp Hurd of Shepherd Road; his sons, Allen Hurd (Jennifer), Greg Hurd (Jessica), Craig Hurd (Holly) and Scott Hurd (Brandi); his grandchildren, Alec, Natalie, Kaitlynn, Collin, Olivia, Trevor, Jacob, Abby, Caleb and Noah; and his siblings, Frank Hurd, Richard Hurd, Darlene Smith (Russell), Deborah Hurd and Karen Hurd. He is also survived by five step grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
