Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Markes and Rita St. Thomas Markes; and his brother Carl J. Markes (Diane M. Gonyea). He is survived by: his brother Robert P. Markes (Sally Hunold).
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Brew Funeral Home (48 South St, Auburn, NY 13021).
