He was predeceased by: his wife Anne Decker Toole; his brothers, Joseph and Terry Toole; and his son-in-law John Major Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Major, Maureen Brown (Dan), Brien Toole (Melanie) and Sean Toole (Nicole); his grandchildren, Molli Brown, Kevin Brown, Liam Major (Bryana), Kiernan Major, Cameron Toole (Richard) and Declan Toole; his great grandchild Kaitlynne; and his close friend Nancy Carmody. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the White Chapel Funeral Home, Inc. (197 South St, Auburn, NY 13021). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (17 Clark St, Auburn, NY 13021).
