We announce the death of Joyce Pound (Auburn, New York), who passed away on June 4, 2026, at the age of 91. Joyce will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Wallace Chisholm and Ruth Catherine (Rice); her husband Bob Pound (Robert Earl); her brother David W. Chisholm Jr.; and her son Dale.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy McFarland; her grandchildren, Janelle Corbel and Corey Pound; her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Archer and Otto Pound; her cousin Mina Gravatt; and her niece Missy Thurston.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends are invited to make donations to the Union Springs Seventh-day Adventist Church (P.O. Box 556, Union Springs, NY 13160) for the maintenance and upkeep of the church organ which Bob and Joyce were instrumental in obtaining.
