He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Albert and Lillian Detsel (Stewart); and his niece Melissa Detsel. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Detsel (Mack); his children, Tina Large (Steven), Michelle Baker (Mike), David Walter and Russell Kreydatus (Heather); and his siblings, Katherine Gauthier (Tom) and Howard Detsel. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
