He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Walter and Carolyn Walter; and his sister Harriett Switzer. He is survived by: his fiancée Barbara Switzer; his children, Kelly Langtry, William "Slim" Walter (Nancy) and Stacy Crowley (Gary); his stepchildren, Catrina Mazzeo, Gregory Mazzeo (Maria) and Alleyne Clark (Pete); his siblings, Mildred Kilmer, Kent Walter (Robin) and Neta Dodson; his grandchildren, Zachary, Felicia, Colton, Amanda, Ryan, Ellen, Amber, Daniela, Madyson and Michael; and his great grandchildren, Mara, Maverick and Lily. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the White Chapel Funeral Home, Inc. (197 South St, Auburn, NY 13021). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
