He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sofo and Micalena Sofo (Pronti); and his brother Roland Sofo. He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Sofo Sr. (Shirley) and Mercurio Sofo Jr.; his grandchildren, Taylor Sofo (Logan), Brenden, Austyn, Audrey (Luke) and Joseph Jr.; his great grandchild Myles; and his siblings, Theresa Ferguson and Joseph A. Sofo Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
