He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Kowal and Arlene Kowal. He is survived by: his wife Debra McCormick; his children, Nicole Nunziata (Stephen) of Avon, CT, Marc Kowal (Laura) of Skaneateles, NY and Abigail Gleason of Auburn, NY; his grandchildren, Mark Nunziata of Winter Springs, FL, Gina Nunziata of South Glastonbury, CT, Owen and Tucker Kowal of Skaneateles, NY; and his sister Diane Antonacci of Sayre, PA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pettigrass Funeral Home (196 Genesee St, Auburn, NY 13021). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at the same location.
