She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. MacCone and Frances C. MacCone (Kelly); and her husband Charles B. Burtless. She is survived by: her children, Michael Burtless (Mary), Christine Ockenfels (Rick), Gary Burtless (Elise Bruml), Cathleen OHara (Lloyd), Ronald Burtless, David Burtless (Susan) and Caroline Burtless; and her grandchildren, Sharon Clink, Christopher Burtless, Caryn Burtless, Jennifer Ockenfels, Patrick Ockenfels (Kim), Ann Marie Ockenfels, Andrew Burtless (Yuko), Matthew Burtless, Christian OHara (Erica), Michelle OHara (Nick Berardi), Ryan OHara, Mary Jean Whalen (Andrew) and Patty Burtless. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Alphonsus Church (10 S Lewis St #2708, Auburn, NY 13021). A Mass was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:15 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the local Finger Lakes SPCA, The American Cancer Society or to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
