He was predeceased by: his parents, John McCarthy and Marion Kinney McCarthy; his wife Evelyn Jean Post; and his son Jeffrey. He is survived by: his sons, Robert Jr. (Patti), John (Anne) and Thomas (Roxanne). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
