It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosalie Smith of Auburn, New York, who passed away on November 1, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rosalie Smith to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony DeChick and Mary DeChick (Ciampi); her husband Richard; her close friend William Woodlock; and her siblings, Dolores Vivenzio, Anthony, Richard and Leonard DeChick.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Snyder (Rick) and Michael Smith (Donna Lauretta); her grandchildren, Jordan Betts (John), Lucas Snyder (Deanna) and Lily Grimes (Jamyr); her great grandchildren, Harper, Nora, Colton Betts and Jasiah Grimes; and her brother Gus Vivenzio (Kris DeChick). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pettigrass Funeral Home (196 Genesee St, Auburn, NY 13021). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
