It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stella Z. Chalanick of Auburn, New York, who passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Zanowick and Mary Oristian Zanowick; her husband Andrew; her siblings, Alexander Zanowick (Helen), Dr. Russell Zanowick (Mitzi), Bowden Zanowick (Bud), Mary Fedor (Emory) and Genevieve Zanowick; and her brother-in-law Walter Chalanick (Helen).
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Theresa Graney Zanowick of Owasco; her grandchildren, Lisa Rosbrook (Jamie) of Marcellus, Daniel Chalanick of Frisco, Matthew Chalanick (Liz) of Auburn and Elizabeth Chalanick of Baltimore, MD.; and her great grandchildren, Kaden, Kendall, Emma, Jack and Makenna. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
