He was predeceased by: his parents, Dudley DeGroff and Isabelle DeGroff (Wentzel). He is survived by: his wife Patricia DeGroff (Vrooman); his children, Stuart DeGroff and Nancy Velez-Sepulveda; his grandchildren, Maliya, Jaydin, Caelum Velez-Sepulveda and Ariah Dale; and his siblings, Charles, Donald DeGroff and Cindy Mizro. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fleming-Rural Cemetery.
