He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Burroughs and Inez Bennett Burroughs; his wife Pamela Warner Burroughs; and his daughter Lori Burroughs. He is survived by: his daughters, Terri Eggleston (Brian), Billi Jo Decker (Matt) and Lynn Smith (Jeffrey); and his sister Phyllis Dadabbo. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
