He was predeceased by: his father James C. (Elizabeth G. Jacobs); and his brothers, Robert and James Jacobs. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Jacobs (Vivenzio); his children, Elizabeth DeTomaso (Mark) of Auburn, James Jacobs (Daisy) of Florida and Anne Beavers (Christopher) of Syracuse; his grandchildren, Nicole Hoey (Kevin), William DeTomaso (Jazmen), Robert Jacobs (Holloway), Gabrielle Beavers and Jacob Beavers; and his great grandchildren, Dominic, Meilani DeTomaso, Stella and Maverick Hoey.
Donations may be made to Auburn Permanent Firefighters Benevolent Association, Hospice of the Finger Lakes, and St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
