It is with sadness that the passing of Linda T. Matlock (Averill Park, New York) is shared. Linda, born on January 16, 1946, passed away on September 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Linda will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Linda by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Linda is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Linda’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Tifft and Alice Tifft (Lee); and her siblings, Lee and Diane. She is survived by: her husband Charles; her sister Cyndi Herman (Art); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Tifft and Kate Renner (Michael). She is also survived by nieces and their wonderful children.
Early in her disease she joined other Parkinson's patients in aerobic boxing at Schott's Boxing in Albany.
