She was predeceased by : her parents, Jimmie L. Collins and Elizabeth D. Cook Collins; her husband Stanley J. Piekos; her son David Rafferty; and her brother Douglas Collins (Joan).

She is survived by : her children, Kelly Ann Knowles of Sand Lake, Sandra Morgan of Troy, Fred Rafferty (Tammy) of Watervliet, Brian Rafferty (Jodie) of Rensselaer and Tina Guilbault of Troy; and her brother Thomas Collins (Nancy) of New Jersey. She is also survived by several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
