She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“Hazel endured a lot of hardships in her lifetime, but she aways faced them with a brave front. She always gave me the courage to face my own difficulties. Hazel had a very sharing heart. She once had a bag of chocolate and offered me one, I declined. She said to me, "oh, come on have one, chocolate always taste better when shared". I am going to miss her, I have a heart full of good times we were blessed to have together. I know Hazel is standing tall and is enjoying a piece of chocolate now.”
