He is survived by: his father Alvin Housel of Penn Yan; his children, Deborah Nelson (Dave) and John Housel (Maureen); his grandchildren, Charlotte and Palmer Housel; his stepgrandchildren, Ethan and Chloe Nelson; his brother Jeffrey Housel (Pamela) of Penn Yan; and his siblings-in-law, Steven Nussbaumer of Penn Yan, Sharon Hayes (Earl) of Ithaca and Susan Loomis-Collatz (Mark) of East Lansing, Michigan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
