In loving memory of Audrey Gent of Babylon, New York, who departed this world on November 5, 2025 at the age of 96. Audrey leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Sr.; her son John Jr. (late Christine); and her grandson Nicholas Squillacioti. She is survived by: her children, Karen Bowers (Jack), Barbara Squillacioti (late Louis), Daniel Gent, Susan Sacripante (Louis) and Brian Gent; her grandchildren, Maria Sacripante (Michael), Nicholas Sacripante, Maggie Bowers (John), Timothy Bowers, Andrew Squillacioti (Jacqueline), Susanne Bowers (Haley), Matthew Squillacioti (Kristina) and Alex Sacripante; her great grandchildren, Catie Sue, Junior, Anthony, John, Abigail, Siena, Juliet, Eliza, David, Graham, Rachel, Rosie, Althea and Olive; and her great great grandchild Sophia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many other friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (1225 Montauk Hwy, West Islip, NY 11795). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Audrey's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
