He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Kathleen Brunn (Todd), Karen Lynch (Sean) and Kevin Schmidt (Teri); his grandchildren, Luke, Tommy Brunn, Sean Charles, Colin Lynch, Lucy and Elliott Schmidt; and his brothers, Kenneth, Louis and Matthew Schmidt.
