He was predeceased by: his wife Victoria; his daughter Sheila; his siblings, John McLoughlin, James McLoughlin, Michael McLoughlin, Mary McHugh, Thomas McLoughlin and Gerard McLoughlin; and his parents, John McLoughlin and Mary McLoughlin (Kelly) of Drumkeeran.

He is survived by: his children, Sparky McLoughlin (Jackie), Dedi O'Connor, Bryan McLoughlin, Taryn Birkmire (Ken), Andrew (Lori), Matthew (Jill) and Maria Parascandola (Sal); his siblings, Margaret McLoughlin and Joseph McLoughlin; Kris McLoughlin (Bruce). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

For his efforts, the Diocese of Rockville Center awarded him with a St. Agnes Medal of Service, in recognition of his longstanding contributions to St. Joseph's Church.
