“I am deeply sorry for your loss. I was so fortunate to meet Lou as my career as a school counselor began in 1993. I was fortunate enough to work under his tutelage as an intern at Half Hollow Hills High School East. After my internship finished in May, I received a call from Lou asking me for my resume. Six interviews later, I became Lou’s colleague! I will be forever grateful to him for opening that door. His influence on me remained during my tenure as Guidance Director from 2004-2025. 🙏”
