He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann [Russell] Germano; and his brother Robert Germano. He is survived by: his family Tom; his children, Elizabeth Germano, Thomas Germano, Andrew Germano and Judith Germano (Michael Bonarti); his stepchildren, James Miller (Shana) and Patti Miller Retzlaff (Todd); his grandchildren, Jesse Forgione (Hallie), Kate Forgione, Linda Forgione, Amy Germano-Daum, Ariel Rose Germano, Sarah Grace Germano, Anthony Germano, Andrew John "AJ" Germano, Christina Bonarti, Matthew Bonarti, Kai Miller and Lucas Miller; his great grandchildren, Oliver and Athena Victoria; his sister Patricia Germano Canova; Rosalie Chamberlain of Ithaca.
A memorial gathering was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM at the Saint Joseph's RC Church (39 N Carll Ave, Babylon, NY 11702). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
