He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maureen Marsden Long; his daughters, Jeanne (Pete), Christine (John) and Suzanne (Scott); his parents, Thomas and Anna; and his siblings, Anne and John.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (1225 Montauk Hwy, West Islip, NY 11795). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph's R. C. Church (39 N Carll Ave, Babylon, NY 11702).
The family has chosen to send donations to UTSouthwestern Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center.
