She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Elderkin and Iris Elderkin; her significant other Richard Clair; her son Gary Clair of Bainbridge, NY; and her siblings, Barbara Shields (Elderkin), Jacqueline Baird (Dave) and John Elderkin (Betsy) of Walton.
She is survived by: her children, Joanna Long (Guy) of Beaufort, SC, Lynn Whitaker (Clair) of Beaufort, SC, Gordon Clair of Sidney, NY, Lorraine Cummings (Richard) of Ocean Isle, NC, Kevin Clair (Nancy) of Auburn, NH, Paula Clair, Keith DeVost of Unadilla, NY, Karla Spychalski (Clair) of Bainbridge, NY, Jerri Jones (Ron) of Lebanon, NY, Brian Clair of Bainbridge, NY and Kelly Whitney (Clair) of Astor, FL.; her grandchildren, Cassandra Luckwell (Cummings), Joshua, Ryan, Dylan Whitaker, April, Mandy, Nikola Spychalski, Danika, Cori Clair and Ethan Whitney; and also, George Gould and Aric McKowan.
