He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Doris; and his brother Edward. He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his son Ian (Summer); his granddaughters, Madelyn and Ella; his daughter Shannon (John); and his grandchildren, Lily, Jack, Luke, Reagan and Amelia. He is also survived by mother-in-law as well as his 5 siblings.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Towers Funeral Home Inc. (2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY 11572). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 9:45 AM at the St Anthony's Roman Catholic Church (88 Anchor Ave, Oceanside, NY 11572). The inurnment was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933).
