He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank F. Mento and Joanne Mento (Rohde). He is survived by: his wife Karen Lynn Mento (Hall); his children, Makenzi Joy Williams (Steven), Frank F. Mento II (Sydney) and Tanner D. Mento; his grandchildren, Myles B. Mento, James S. Williams and Khloé M. Williams; and his siblings, Lesa Dolan (Rob), Fred Mento (Lisa), Jeff Mento (Danelle) and Nancy Capponi (Pete).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home (3401 Vickery Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Epiphany Parish (Formerly St. Joseph the Worker Church) (1001 Tulip St, Liverpool, NY 13088).
