He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris and Minnie. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Aaron (Karen), Carrie (Keith) and Derrick; his grandchildren, Julia, Annabel, MacKenna and Damon; and his sister Melissa (Richard). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
