He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Klamm and Jane Klamm; his former wife Eileen H. Klamm; and his brothers, Francis, William "Smi" and James.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Hearn; his daughters, Amy Chabot (Stephen), Holly Klamm and Emily Klamm (Christopher Bowen); his grandsons, Aidan and Owen Chabot; his stepchildren, Heather Hazlett (Brian) and Mark Gersbacher; his stepgranddaughters, Lauren and Morgan Hazlett; and his brother John "Johnny". He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
