He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence "Larry" La Belle and Gladys Elliott La Belle; his wife Cornellian Mary Elizabeth Brougham (Joan Procopio); his sister Norma La Belle Cumpston; his siblings-in-law, Helen Brougham, Robert Brougham and Milo Cumpston; and his son-in-law Reza Kardooni.
He is survived by: his children, Steven, Remi (Barbara), Cathy Kardooni and Linda La Belle. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be directed to the Finger Lakes Trail Conference or WCNY Radio.
