Putman of Baldwinsville, New York, born in Schenectady, New York, who passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, J. Wendell Putman and Marion "Molly" Putman (Smith); and his son-in-law Mark Joslyn. He is survived by : his wife Nancy Putman (Kehr) of Baldwinsville, NY; his children, William Putman (Patricia) of Liverpool, NY, Susan Joslyn of Fairfax, VA and Judith Sette (Alfred) of Windham, NH; his siblings, George Putman (Carol) and Mary Davidson (Bob); his grandchildren, Sarah Putman, Rachel Woodard (Stephen), Hannah Putman (Thomas Ressler), Natalia Joslyn, David Joslyn, William Sette and Charles Sette; and his sister-in-law Sally Green (Donald). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill's memory may be made to the memorial fund of Liverpool First Presbyterian Church.
