She was predeceased by: her parents, William Meeks and Eunice Meeks (Baxter); and her husband Peter Saarie. She is survived by: her sons, Joe Saarie (Linda) of Phoenix, NY and Dan Saarie (Liz) of Baldwinsville, NY; her grandchildren, Madeline (Frederick), Calvin and Gwendoline; and her sister Dorothy Cooper of North Syracuse, NY. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Maurer Funeral Home (3541 NY-31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Contributions in Yvonne's memory may be made to the Humane Society or a charity of one's choice.
