He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Briggs and Lillian Briggs (VanVranken); and his brother Douglas Briggs. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Briggs (Weakley); his children, Mark Briggs (Amy), Paul Briggs (Nicole), Lori Warner (John), Fred Briggs (Tammy) and Clarisse Kelly (Edward); his grandchildren, Papa B, Ryan Kelly (Danielle), Sean Kelly, Allison Pierce (Kevin), Paul Briggs, Jr. (Veronica), John Warner (Keesha), Joshua Warner, Jenna Warner (Fred), Dustin Briggs, Hailey Briggs, Danielle Kelly, Amanda Sheldon (Tyler) and Christina Kelly; his great grandchildren, Ryan Jr., Grayson, Jackson, Rosalin, Jamison, James and Gracie; his nephew Jason Briggs (Susan); and his niece Sarah Briggs.
