With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rita A. Ryan-Costa (Ballston Lake, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rita left this world on July 20, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert "Chip" Sollin and Rita Sollin (Brierley); her grandson Thomas "TJ" Dioguardo; and her husband John Anthony Ryan. She is survived by: her son John; her daughter-in-law Donna Ryan; her grandchildren, Shannon, Logan and Dominick (Kristin Dioguardo); her great grandchildren, Adeline and Harper Dioguardo; her children, Hunter and Caden Dioguardo; her grandchildren, Michaelina and Keith DeLuca; and also, Lance Hanson, Toni Ann DeLuca (Phil) and Lori Ann Costa (Rick).
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home (21 Midline Rd, Ballston Lake, NY 12019). A Mass will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church (2001 US-9, Round Lake, NY 12151). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calverton National Cemetery. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church (2001 US-9, Round Lake, NY 12151).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations be made to an equine rescue.
