We are sad to announce that, on March 18, 2022, at the age of 95, Robert L. Gessner (Ballston Lake, New York), born in Lincoln, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Gessner and Ann Gessner (Armbruster); his brother Eugene A. Gessner; his son Timothy James Gessner; and his granddaughter Anastasia McGee Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Norma J. Gessner (McGee); his children, Robert Gessner, Catherine Gessner (Kevin Cosgrove), Daniel Gessner (Sarai Lopez), Julia Parsons and Andrew Gessner (Garth Huggins); and his grandchildren, Caitlyn, Nathan Parsons and Alex Nelson.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions in his honor be made to The Arbor Day Foundation, 211 N. 12th St., Lincoln, NE 68508.
