We announce the death of William R. Smith (Ballston Lake, New York), who passed away on July 19, 2026, at the age of 83. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. Smith and Elva Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sherry; his daughter Katelyn M. Smith; his niece Holly LaPietro; his nephews, Robert and Daniel Martin; his sister-in-law Linda R. Martin (late Robert); and his sister Susan N. Smith. He is also survived by several cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
