He was predeceased by: his wife Julene Sanford; and his brothers, Douglas Sanford and Bruce Yakman. He is survived by: his son Joe Sanford (Kelly); his grandchildren, Ian Sanford, Kaylana Laurenty and Caleb Sanford; his great grandchild Azlynn Sanford; and his sisters, Helena Yakman (Dennis) and Rhonda Hartin (Jack). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
