Catherine F. Merchant Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine F. Merchant of Ballston Spa, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 5, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Fields and Mary Fields (Bazycki); her husband Richard A. Merchant of Ballston Spa; her siblings, Mary Ann Bristol, Anne Marie Fields and Michael Fields; her brother-in-law Steven Lee Merchant; and her nephew Jerry Plekan.
She is survived by: her son Rick; her daughter-in-law Candy Merchant; her sisters-in-law, Shirley Geier (Merchant) and Lois Fields; and her friend Kevin Hayes.
