He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Randall Cox and Elvira Jane Lowell Cox; his sisters, Janet Brown and MaryLou Lattrimore; his nephew Kevin McKenzie; his great-niece Tara McNulty; and his great-nephew Marty Baylies Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Harrison Cox; his children, William Cox, Timothy Cox (Rebecca Balzac) and Laura Cox Marino (John Marino); his grandchildren, Sara Jade Zlotnick, Adrianne Anna Cox and Benjamin Harrison Cox; his sister Nancy Cox Harrison (Donald Harrison); and his sisters-in-law, Judy and Janet Harrison. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations in David's memory be made to the ADK Mountain Club and/or the First Baptist Church of Ballston Spa.
