With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George M. Hannah of Ballston Spa, New York, who passed away on May 16, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hannah and Anna Hannah. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hannah; his children, Michael Hannah (Cathy), George Hannah Jr. (Amanda) and Gina McCarthy (Michael); and his grandchildren, Isaiah, Brinley, Christopher and Michael. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mevec Funeral Home (224 Milton Ave, Ballston Spa, NY 12020). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (167 Milton Ave, Ballston Spa, NY 12020). A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Mary's School in Ballston Spa.
