We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2025, at the age of 66, Joseph R. Ody Jr. (Ballston Spa, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Joseph leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Joseph may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ody, and Gertrude Ody, Sr.; and his aunt Mary. He is survived by: his daughter Gema Ody; his grandson Maurice Reedy; his siblings, Debra Hatlee and Edward Ody (Michelle); his siblings' children, Vicki Bush, Quinn Ody, Stephen Hatlee (Tabatha) and Eric Hatlee; and his friend Connie Styno. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Armer Funeral Home, Inc. (39 E High St, Ballston Spa, NY 12020). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
