She was predeceased by: her parents, John Merando and Mary Merando (Palmiotto) of Peekskill; her in-laws, John and Theresa Heller; her brother Bob Merando (Mary Jean) of Cortlandt Manor; and her brothers-in-law, Brian Heller and Tony Lauria.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. John T. Heller, Jr. of Melrose; her son Matthew (Macey) of Saratoga; her sister-in-law Kim Lauria; her close friend Deb DiBello of Altamont; her brothers-in-law, Jeff Heller (Renee) of Altamont and David LaMar (Juan) of Niskayuna; and her siblings, John (Shirley) of Walkersville, Maryland, Tom (Patty) of Marblehead, Massachusetts, Cathy (Jim Sillsbury) of Peekskill and Alan (Diane) of Safety Harbor, Florida.. She is also survived by six nieces, eight nephews and their children; and many beloved cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Free Spirit Fellowship Church (1425 W High St, Ballston Spa, NY 12020). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at the Oakwood Cemetery (50 101st St, Troy, NY 12180).
