He is survived by: his children, Charles O'Brien (Cynthia) and Shelly Bessey (Roy); his stepchildren, Carol DeThorne (Ray), Ronald Sherling (Patrice) and Wendy Pierce (Nathan Randal); his grandchildren, Alison, Michael, Jessica, Nick, Britney, Taylor, Courtney, Lindsay, Paige and Miranda; his great grandchildren, Reilly, Kylie, Rocco, Carmello, Gino, Noella, Olivia, Leo, Carson, Carter, Marco, Nico, Nile of Monroe, M. J. and Murphy; and his sisters, Carolyn Hatcher Baron, Donna Litte and Joyce Cross (Ron). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
