He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Christine; children: William (Burgandy) and Meghan (Nicole); parents: Francis "Max" McDonough and Mary McDonough; siblings: Robert (Lyn), Scott, and Katherine (Jay) McDonough; brothers-in-law: Dennis (Jennifer) Rourke and Brian (Kathleen) Rourke; nieces and nephews: Brandon (Anna), Mercedes (Thomas), Natalie, Nicholas, Emily McDonough, Emma, Molly, Liam, and Maeve Rourke; uncles: David (Linda) Eaton and Robert (Laurie) Eaton; and many cousins.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Clement's Church (231 Lake Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in William's name may be made to Community Hospice of Saratoga (https://www.communityhospice.org), Palliative Care at Saratoga Hospital or John Hopkins Bladder Cancer Research.
