He was predeceased by: his father Joe (Nicolia Excavating); and his wife Sharon. He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Merrill (late Bill), Peggy Nicolia, Sandy Branch (Kevin) and Joanne Hurtgam; his sister Marilyn Condello (Dominic); and his grandchildren, Jerry Merrill (Candy), Julie Gay (Shane), Nicholas Branch, Shelby Watry (Nicholas), Jamie Schwab (David) and Kristina Hurtgam.
