It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn L. Dalton of Barneveld, New York, born in Adel, Iowa, who passed away on August 3, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Solomon Bamer; her siblings, Bill Wilcox (Irene) and Charlotte Dueland (Richard); and her parents, Olive Wilcox and Russell Wilcox.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Dalton (Kimberly), Arthur, Fran Bamel, Jerrold Bamel, Jessie Tan, Jody Bamel, Mary Dalton, William, Kimberly Ferris, Kurt Dalton, Michael, Penny Hite, Robert and Kelly Colangelo; and her sister Shirley Gibson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church, corner of Hopper and King Streets in Utica or to the Carolyn L. Dalton Scholarship Fund at Utica University.
