He was predeceased by: his parents, Habib Karbor and Alieh Karbor; his grandfathers, Dr. Austin Spiridilozzi, Lucas Spiridilozzi, Cameron Spiridilozzi, Ariana Emad, Aaliyeh Emad, Lailah Emad and Derek Emad; and his former wife Alice Rupert Emad.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jalil, Tajol Molook, Hossien Ali, Kamal, Shahdokt and Zahara; his wife Gina Emad (Jean); his children, Dr. Linda Emad, Paul Emad (Sondra) and Jeffrey Emad (Deborah); his sisters, Shahnaz, Shahdokht, Effat and Zahra; his mother-in-law Jane Cognetto; and his sister-in-law Terry Cognetto. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mental Health Association in New York State (MHANYS) which he devoted 55 years of his life, Mohawk Valley Health Systems (MVHS) as well as Anita's Steven Swan Humane Society of Oneida County.
