We bid farewell to William P. Lavier Sr. of Barneveld, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 19, 2025 at the age of 81. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Lavier and Leona Kent Lavier; his wife Terry Zalewski Lavier; his son Sergeant Aaron Lavier (Jackie); and his siblings, David and Juliet.
He is survived by: his children, Master Sergeant (Retired), William Lavier II (Elizabeth) of Whitesboro, Desiree Christman (Jeffrey) of Utica and Philip Lavier (Melanie) of Utica; his daughter-in-law Jackie Lavier (Benton Ketron); his grandchildren, Mark Clemons (Allyssa), Olivia Clemons (Mandy), Cheyenne Petrillo-Lavier (Edgar), Aliya Tarbania (Anthony), Avrie Park and Evan Park; his great grandchildren, Brantley, Kenley Clemons, Luna Hernandez and Roman Brinkerhoff; his brother Alfred Lavier (Eileen); and his siblings-in-law, James Zalewski (Sandra) and Maryellen Kowiatek. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
