He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Fitch and Ada Knopp Fitch; and his wife Jane E. Dusen Fitch. He is survived by: his sons, Donald F. Fitch, Jr. of Basom, Dennis Fitch (Julie) of Oakfield, Randy Fitch of Basom, Gary Fitch (Patricia) of Pittsford and Darryl Fitch of Orchard Park; his grandchildren, Christopher Fitch (Caitlin), Carrie Richards (Chad), Steve Fitch (Alice), Trevor Fitch and Austin Fitch; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Chelsea Fitch, Chase Richards, Ryan and Ben Fitch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Book Hotel Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home (11 Maple Ave, Oakfield, NY 14125).
